I met Mary Litzler in Lucknow, North India. When we met, I was going through a very difficult time emotionally and physically. To help me ,she offered Jin Shin Jyutsu
sessions which and I gratefully accepted. She had been a practitioner of this art for 20 years in America.
Very soon into the sessions I started to feel that everything was getting back into place. I had more strength and found the clarity needed to face the situations that life
had presented to me.
Later on she asked me if I would like to learn the self-help application of Jin Shin Jyutsu. A little group had gathered and was ready to receive lessons.
The timing was very inappropriate for me as the temperature was climbing up to 47 degrees C. and I was already busy dismantling my small guest house. This meant selling all
kinds of household items in India - a real challenge. But without much thought I said yes to Mary.
As the classes started I found myself totally exhausted and could barely listen. I just enjoyed the cool air conditioned room and rested comfortably. After two days I felt I
had much more energy. This made me pay more attention to her teaching as I soon realized that I didn’t understand anything she was talking about. I said to her “You are talking Japanese to me”. Her answer
was:“ Don’t bother, just relax. The rest will come by itself.”
After that I spent a full month in her classes, absorbing the teaching each time with more fun and interest.

Then it was time to part. Looking forward to a fresher climate, I went up to Gangotri and spend the next four months
in the Himalayas carrying my little Jin Shin Jyutsu handbook and notes.
I practiced daily on myself and also soon on others who had some health-problems. I did my best to restore their energy. In such a remote place there was no medical help
around so I tried my best, knowing that Jin Shin Jyutsu can never harm anyone.
Very soon, even as a “beginner”, I sensed the hidden power of this simple harmonizing method. Problems like diarrhoea, breathing difficulties, vertigo and even hernia
were relieved or disappeared completely.
Because of such experiences, I became motivated to study Jin Shin Jyutsu in depth. Today I am aware that this is a lifelong study, a love affair with the “healing”
process… with the Absolute Being,… to BE Absolute.
I am – “Be- It is “. This is the magic sentence, moving like an invisible thread through Mary’s books. There is no way to put it into words, one door after the other
opens and I experience a profound journey in this awareness of the Self.

Advice: Jin Shin Jyutsu is not intended to be a substitute for regular medical attention by recognized medical authorities
